 Waterfox 8.0.1 is now available. It uses the stable Firefox 8.0.1 source code. This update should also fix the memory problem and uses the new Waterfox logo.

For some reason a few users are experience more memory usage then they should. I'm currently investigating this issue and will release a minor update to Waterfox today.

Great news everybody. I'd like to introduce everyone to Miloš Mirković. He is the very talented designer who has designed the new Waterfox logo which will be used in Waterfox 8.0.1. You can see the logo next to the site title at the top of the web page. If you have the time why not check out his other work?

Add-ons installed by third party programs are now disabled by default
Added a one-time add-on selection dialog to manage previously installed add-ons
