It is very easy for flash drives to get infected with viruses and pass the infection to computers. After Death is a special program designed to remove viruses from both flash drives and memory cards.

Viruses like Dorbot that infect flash drives convert files into shortcuts, making them invisible. They are so good at hiding the files that many antivirus programs cannot retrieve the data. However, After Death uses advanced algorithm that allows it to detect the viruses and remove them completely. You only need to select your flash drive, scan it and then delete the listed virus. Once you have cleaned the drive, restore folders using the “Fix” button.

After Death basically performs three functions:

• 		Deleting auto run viruses from flash drives

• Restoring files hidden by viruses
• Deleting virus sources in computers to stop the infection cycle

Although the program scans and lists suspicious files, including details like the sizes and installation dates, it does not show why it marks them as suspicious. However, it is a handy tool for detecting and removing what your antivirus leaves behind.
