That is because Asus OEM drivers installs less functions than Elantech (the maker) have designed.

The drivers ARE there on your OEM driver CD.



Just when you install the touchpad drivers...

*DONT USE AsusSetup.exe to do your installations.

*USE the Setup.exe which should be in the same directory.



ElanTech also provide drivers available for download on their website.

ALSO a quick note to those like me who likes to have minimal startup programs,

you NEED to have ETDCTRL.EXE running to have these extra functions OR ELSE ONLY multitouch scrolling with work.





PS: I am not sure how many EeePC models this information concerns, if the moderator feels that this should be moved somewhere more useful, please do!
