I have searched for a long time for Firefox addon with this functionality. My search failed. Then I decided to create this very simple but very necessary (at least for me) addon.

The pin is there, just not pinning the browser on top of other windows.

icon size

I moved the icon to the left of the address bar, and it seems to take up a more typical amount of space. However, it doesn't always stay there...
