Publisher's Description: |
Boredom Software was founded in 1574 by Pope Gregory XIII and Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II in Greg's dad's garage. Boredom Software has the oldest continuously operating website in the world which first went live on May 10, 1752.
Notable members of Boredom Software's famous development shop include Benjamin Franklin, Alan Turing, Bob Hope, Barbara Jordan, and Quentin Crisp.
Most, if not all, of the software projects found here are paradigm-changing works of binary art. Some of our more popular software products have been banned by the Catholic Church and other religious institutions due to their perfection being perceived as being the work of the devil. Our next major project, currently in private beta at the Large Hadron Collider accurately calculates both the position and momentum of particles to an arbitrarily high precision. Public release date to be announced at a later date.
The bulk of our software projects are written in RealBasic, a cross-platform, object-oriented dialect of the venerable BASIC language. It is similar, generally, to Microsoft's VisualBasic save for the whole native Linux and MacOS binaries thing.
