 Ever had a large amount of files on your computer that you needed to organize, look for duplicated files and clean them up? Or simply can’t afford the time to look for duplicated files on your computer, or even have wasted space, that you need so bad, and that its been occupied by duplicated files that you may not even know about? Well, BitFinder is just the tool designed to make that monotonous work into a very easy and fast job. Features: Shell context menu integration. Fast search mode increasing search speed by 85%. Search results export. Supports both SHA1 and MD5 hash. Full UAC support. File filtering. OS requirements for BitFinder: Window 2000/NT/XP/Vista/7. BitFinder was not tested on Windows 95/98/98SE/Me. What´s New in version 1.16b: File type removed (replaced by the implementation of file filter). The user can now double click the search path to bring up the directory browser. The user can now customize the file list colors: file group, copied files and moved files. Fixed minor bug, caused by UAC, when using a limited account under Windows XP. Added file filter functionally. The user can now choose exactly what file types to be displayed. Main menu improved. Empty-clicking buttons issue fixed; main menu usage improved/made easier. Added a “select all but one” option for the duplicated files. Fixed minor UAC bug when running the application from shell context menu. Fixed minor Windows XP options display bug. Added full support for Windows Vista/7 UAC. The application will now request for admin privileges when such is needed. The user no longer has to manually run the application with admin privileges.
